The Royal Bank of Scotland had also withdrawn 0% offers on their range of Platinum credit cards. In fact, Royal Bank of Scotland had no 0% introductory offers available on their range of credit cards for several years.

RBS, along with NatWest credit cards, announced at the end of February 2014 that the Royal Bank of Scotland would no longer offer 0% introductory offers to new customers.

Platinum credit cards, were originally a top level credit card. These cards were harder to get approved for and came with many additional perks. However, now most platinum credit cards, remaining in the UK market, are mainstream cards available to many more customers.
