What are the 0% credit card offers currently available to UK customers in 2024?

The UK credit card market has historically been very competitive with many firms competing for new customers. However, the number of 0% credit cards, available to new customers, has fallen over the last few years.

In part this was due to consolidation among the the UK credit card providers, due to mergers and takeovers. The recent Coronavirus pandemic has also further reduced the number of 0% cards now available.

0% credit card offers for balance transfers allow you to transfer a balance from an existing credit card. This balance transfer is usually made to a new card that offers a long 0% introductory deal on transfers.

You can save money by paying no interest during this introductory 0% balance transfer period. In most cases however, tou will have to be pay a balance transfer fee. This fee is calculated as a % of the total balance transfer amount.

At the end of the introductory 0% period, the interest rate on any outstanding balance remaining on the card will return to the standard APR rate for the card. This is typically around 24.9% APR variable, on many 0% credit cards in the UK.
